VOGUE Loves Hong Kong Celebration: A celebration of culture through the lens of fashion

An anchor event of Hong Kong Fashion Fest brought together international and local celebrities and fashion icons for an unforgettable night of fashion, entertainment and style, setting the stage for the future of fashion in the city



VOGUE Loves Hong Kong Celebration (VLHK) lit up the city with a mega fashion extravaganza attended by a star-studded lineup of local, mainland and international celebrities and luminaries. Held on the Harbourside East Lawn of WestK Art Park on November 28, the landmark event celebrated Hong Kong’s vibrant cultural tapestry, featuring unexpected musical performance by Hong Kong singers, electrifying DJ sets, and immersive activations, where a thousand of invited guests gathered for a grand celebration to showcase the city’s fashion landscape, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of West Kowloon Cultural District (WestK) and the iconic Hong Kong skyline.


A Key Highlight of Hong Kong Fashion Fest


Sponsored by the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA), VLHK is a centrepiece of the inaugural Hong Kong Fashion Fest, with core programmes running from November 20 to December 4. This vibrant festival transforms Hong Kong into a dynamic showcase of global fashion, cultural exchange, and creativity. Presented by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSARG), the Hong Kong Fashion Fest celebrates the city’s unique role as an East-Meets-West centre for international cultural exchange. With an exciting lineup of fashion-forward events, the Fest aims to attract over 150,000 fashion enthusiasts, industry leaders, members of public and travellers from more than 15 countries or regions, establishing a new benchmark for fashion festivals in the region.


VOGUE: Leading the Fashion Conversation



As the Hong Kong edition of the world’s most renowned style bible, VOGUE Hong Kong is at the forefront of fashion, luxury and cultural dialogue. VOGUE Loves Hong Kong Celebration culminates its unique creative vision, while celebrating the city’s unique blend of East and West values and cultural collaboration.

The night kicked off by the Guest of Honour, Mr Kevin Yeung, GBS, JP, Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism with an array of local, mainland, international celebrities and global fashion icons on the red carpet, all gathered to honour Hong Kong’s vibrant role as a creative powerhouse. Other attending guests from the HKSARG included Ms Vivian Sum, JP, Permanent Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr Victor Tsang, JP, Commissioner for Cultural and Creative Industries of CCIDA and Hon Sunny Tan, Chairman of the Hong Kong Fashion Council.   Headline guests including CL (Lee Chae-rin), K-pop sensation and member of 2NE1; and Wi Ha-jun, the breakout star in Squid Game; Lucien Laviscount, loved for his role as Alfie in Emily in Paris, continued to capture hearts off-screen. Also in the limelight were Jourdan Dunn, British supermodel and coverstar on numerous Vogue editions; Kōki, - renowned model from Japan; and Eileen Gu, the youngest Olympic champion in freestyle skiing. Famous Thai actors Mew Suppasit and Davika Hoorne; international influencers and notable fashionistas including Georgina Wilson, Heart Evangelista, Jessica Jung, Irene Kim, Yoyo Cao, Susie Bubble, Bryanboy, and Tina Leung celebrated individuality in their own eclectic styles.   Other celebrities including Stephy Tang, Chrissie Chau, Isabella Leong, Fan Bingbing, Keung To, Anson Lo, Ian Chan, Lokman Yeung, Anson Kong and Edan Lui from MIRROR; Gin Lee, AGA Kong, Ayla Shum, Will Or, Natalie Hsu, Laurinda Ho, Beatrice Ho, Emily Lam and Elly Lam; Hong Kong supermodels Qiqi, Janet Ma, Kathy Chow, Amanda Strang, and Gaile Lok whom have been featured on VOGUE Hong Kong’s 5th Anniversary “Hong Kong Stories” cover, and Gen Z celebrities, models, influencers and social glitterati were also spotted in the event.  


Guests arrived on the red carpet in a special edition Porsche for VOGUE Hong Kong, embarking on their fashion journey.

Attendees were treated to an exhilarating showcase of Hong Kong’s vibrant music scene. The musical cover stars on the March anniversary issue - Hins Cheung, Terence Lam, Jeffrey Ngai, Tyson Yoshi, and Kaho Hung performed together in a spectacular celebration of creativity and collaboration. Homegrown DJ BusyBoi and Subez Yeti kept the energy lively throughout the night.


Culinary Delights and Interactive Fun




No celebration is complete without culinary indulgence. Guests savoured a delightful array of "Tastes of Hong Kong," featuring everything from craft beer and prawn toasts to egg tarts and pineapple buns—specially curated for VOGUE Loves Hong Kong Celebration. At the Glam Stations with NARS, Private I, and Nail Nail, attendees experienced beauty treatments provided by expert glam teams.

 

The VOGUE x Redress Closet, powered by Mercedes Benz, showcased VOGUE's commitment to circular fashion in Hong Kong. Music lovers were treated to an impressive collection of vinyl records at the “Sounds of Hong Kong”, supported by V Music. At the Glambot photo booth, guests showcased their style against the stunning backdrop of Victoria Harbour, capturing unforgettable moments. The VOGUE Hong Kong Newsstand featured the 5th anniversary cover series alongside iconic covers from the magazine’s FIVE FABULOUS YEARS. Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed interactive games and took home special gifts from homegrown brands.

 

VOGUE Loves Hong Kong Celebration is organised by the Hong Kong Fashion Council and sponsored by the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency as a programme of the Hong Kong Fashion Fest which is presented by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
