Asia Fashion Leaders Forum

As a prelude to "Hong Kong Fashion Fest 2025", the Asia Fashion Leaders Forum, held on April 29th, was a resounding success. Co-hosted by the Hong Kong Fashion Council and the British Consulate-General Hong Kong,and in partnership with Business of Fashion (BoF), this exclusive event gathered nearly 100 industry professionals for their enthusiastic participation in making this event a remarkable platform for East-meets-West collaboration and knowledge sharing.

We were honored to welcome our Guests of Honor, Hon. Andrew Leung GBM GBS MBE JP; our VIP guests, Mr. Victor Tsang, JP, Commissioner for Cultural and Creative Industries of the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency, Hon. Sunny Tan, Chairman of the Hong Kong Fashion Council, and Mr. Chris Woodward, Director General of Trade & Investment, British Consulate-General Hong Kong, at the luncheon, alongside many other esteemed guests. The event commenced with insightful speeches, followed by a captivating fireside chat during the luncheon featuring Mr. Nick Blunden, President of Business of Fashion, and Hon. Sunny Tan.

Another key highlight of the Asia Fashion Leaders Forum was an inspiring panel discussion, curated and moderated by The Business of Fashion, concluding with a delightful cocktail reception that fostered further conversations and direct connections among industry stakeholders.With leaders from diverse sectors, including fashion, textiles, retail, finance, and real estate, we explored the opportunities that Hong Kong presents to global fashion brands. We were honored to have Ms. Anda Rowland, Director of Anderson & Sheppard, a bespoke tailor on Savile Row, London, holding a Royal Warrant of Appointment to King Charles III; Mr. Nicolas Morineaux, CEO of Galeries Lafayette China; and Mr. Eric Chan, Member of the Board of Directors of Lanvin Group and Global Partner of Fosun Group, as our esteemed panelists.

The discussions, themed "The Hong Kong Opportunity for Global Brands, highlighted pathways for strategic growth and opportunities in the APAC region, reinforcing Hong Kong's position as a leading fashion, cultural and creative hub.
